nothing but sexuality; he is sexuality itself. Whereas
women possess sexual organs, 'his sexual organs possess
man'. The male is completely preoccupied with
sexual matters, whereas the female is interested in much
else, such as child bearing, education,, sport, social affairs, philosophy
and science, business and politics, religion and art.
Women fall in love only with men clever than themselves.
Thus, the essential difference between man and woman
is that, whereas 'the female lives consciously, the male
lives unconsciously.' Man is incapable of forming clear
judgments, so the distinction between true and false
means nothing to him. Thus men are naturally, inescapably
untruthful. Not that they are, on this account, immoral;
they do not enter the moral realm at all. Man simply
has no standard of right or wrong. And, as he knows no moral
or logical imperative, he cannot be said to have a soul,
and this means he lacks free will. From this it follows that
men have no ego, no individuality, and no character.
Ethically, men are a lost cause.
Each individual man is a combination of the warmonger and
pimp, but is predominantly one or the other. There
is no moral difference between the two: the warmonger’s
love for war is as unthinking and indiscriminate
as the pimp’s desire to make love to every woman
he sees. Whereas the man is obsessed with the
object of sex, the primp is obsessed with the act
itself. All men, whether warmongers or pimps,
share a single characteristic - 'a characteristic
which is really and exclusively masculine'-.
Jew is a Platonic idea, a psychological type, which
is a danger for all womankind, 'but which has become
actual in the most conspicuous fashion only amongst
the Jews. The Jew is 'saturated with masculinity'-
the most womanly Jew is more masculine than the least womanly
Aryan'. The Jew has no sense of good and evil, and no
soul. He is non-philosophical and profoundly irreligious.
These are the ideas of Weininger, he himself was Jewish
and homosexual.
Dietrich Eckhart told that in all his life he had
known just one good Jew: Otto Weininger who killed
himself on the day when he realised that the Jew
lives upon the decay of peoples.
